About
Origin + Mission
SpiceFrame was born from a desire to bridge the emotional divide within the diaspora and more profoundly, as a necessary act of personal healing through creation. Many people in the diaspora feel "homeless" emotionally. They are too Caribbean for London/New York, yet feel disconnected from the raw reality of island living. This creates a "surface-level" existence where cultural identity is performative rather than healing. This platform is the bridge to solving this cultural displacement.
In this magazine, you’ll find everything from Caribbean lifestyle guides (including three moving to Grenada demo guides), to restaurant and food inspiration, dating culture, travel tips, TV/film recommendations and so much more to come! This magazine has it all because we aren’t limiting ourselves here; everything is on the table. Most importantly, this platform remains a safe space for collective healing and growth.
What Do We Offer?
We offer deeply reflective, long-form articles that use personal narrative and community insight to explore diaspora life, emotional vulnerability, and healing. Our main product is our exclusive content, delivered via membership tiers, focusing on themes like self-worth, complex relationships, and cultural identity. We offer a safe space for taboo topics, moving conversations beyond surface-level advice to demand collective, systemic change.
We provide free public access, membership access, and paid tiers, ensuring every individual can participate in this community within their comfort zone. You as the reader have full control over what you read—if some topics feel too heavy, or if some don't resonate, there’s literally something for everyone. We are also big on collaborating with creatives, so much so that we have dedicated a page to our "Poetry Collection" and are actively looking for more ways to work with our diaspora community. Expect new articles quicker than you can blink, because this is a passion, this is our mission, and no one is doing it like us.
What Makes This Platform Unique?
Our uniqueness lies in our multicultural connection: being tied to Guyana, Grenada, and London has fostered a strong sense of what island life looks like compared to diaspora life. Being multicultural has given me a wide perspective on travel, food, Caribbean culture, Black culture, dating, and community. I have connected with so many influential people around the world, and the one thing that connects us all is the need to be the change we seek.
This unique cultural depth is matched by our unfiltered authenticity and poetic tone applied to the toughest conversations. We don't just report on the community; we are a part of the healing process. Our approach involves turning personal trauma into public liberation (as seen in our dating series) to set a precedent for honesty. We empower women to embody "Tuned in. Tapped in. Turned on." and challenge men to cultivate compassion, creating a legacy of conscious, authentic connection for the next generation.
By joining this platform, you're saying yes to diaspora healing & evolution!

Hi, I’m Ninqi— yes, that’s really my name (not a nickname, not made up, it’s all me ). I’m 24, a proud entrepreneur and digital nomad with roots that stretch across Guyana, Grenada, and the UK. Being multicultural isn’t just part of my identity, it’s my legacy — I carry these places with me wherever I go, and they’ve shaped how I see and celebrate the world. From the food and culture to the everyday living, to the people, and of course travel tips. I’ve gathered so many little details along the way — the kind you can’t just Google — and I love being able to share them here with you.
My journey hasn’t been a straight line (and honestly, I wouldn’t want it any other way- I like to have fun ! Over the years, I’ve worn many hats: Sales Associate, Beauty Therapist, Massage Therapist, Social Media Manager, Content Creator, and now, Magazine Editor. Each chapter taught me something new, but what’s stayed consistent is my love for creating spaces where people feel seen and connected.
That’s why I started Spiceframe. Instagram has honestly lost its draw on me — all fast scrolls, ads, and hella overconsumption — I miss the intimacy of reading good content. Reading forces us to slow down, soak things in, and really be present. So I created this space as a home for readers, thinkers, innovator, dreamers, and creators who want more than surface-level content. A place to laugh, to learn, to commune, to feel that sense of belonging we all crave.
This chapter of my creative process feels so special, and I’m so excited you’re here for the ups & downs. Thank you for reading, supporting, and sharing your ideas with me — Spiceframe isn’t just mine, it’s ours.
With love, light, and a little spice 💛
— Ninqi
